Under the best of times people are trying to devise ways to supplement their incomes.  When the economy declines and unemployment increases, this becomes a matter of survival.  During bad economic times, people either have to change jobs or increase their professional skills in order to remain employable. Thus, schools are experiencing increasing enrollments.  This results in a demand for part-time, or adjunct, professors and experienced tradesman to educate these students.  Teaching on a part-time basis can either be used as an income supplement or as a career.  The qualifications needed and how to get started as a part-time educator are presented.
