Speaker, trainer, and writer, Linda Allen is a frequent presenter on a variety of topics to conferences, civic groups and universities.  She travels to South America and Mexico annually and has served as a Spanish interpreter for medical teams and tourists.  


Allen has developed and presented cultural awareness programs to government, university and business clients and has planned events and itineraries and hosted groups from India, Mexico, China, Japan, Brazil, Argentina, and Bolivia.  She is a Toastmasters Competent Communicator.


Allen is author of six books including Decking the Halls - The Traditions and Folklore of Christmas Plants, which was a finalist for the 2001 Benjamin Franklin Award for history and Menagerie at the Manger, the 2007 bookof the Season for The Book Bank Foundation.  She is a regular contributor to regional and state publications.
