Dalton Hooper is the founder and president of Words and Wit, LLC (www.WordsAndWit.com). Although Dalton spent over thirty years in the information technology sector of corporate America, his presentations are definitely geared toward the so-called “soft” skills. Dalton has held leadership roles in such corporate giants as AT&T, Bell Laboratories, and The Walt Disney Company.

Dalton travels the country delivering workshops and keynote presentations, sharing insights from his years of experience in leadership, public speakingand job-search techniques.

He published his first book, Why Is A Microphone Like A Breath Mint? and Nine Other Riddles To Make You A Better Public Speaker, in 2008. Dalton is currently writing a second book, It's Not Leadership If No One Is Following: The Eight Key Behaviors That Make You The Leader You Ought To Be, scheduled for publication in late 2009.

In addition to his experiences in the business world, Dalton also found the time to host his own radio show, Hooper In The Morning, for six years on WYGO in Corbin, Ky. He has the polished voice of a professional announcer and lends these talents to the production of corporate voiceovers, narrations, and audio books.
